Very happy with the whole experience with Trolley Bus Tours. Staff helpful during booking, making the booking process a breeze. My son was married at the Stateroom on LBI and the rehearsal dinner was at Lefty's in Barnegat so we rented the bus for the evening. Our driver, Marva, was as prompt as she could be, and very pleasant to everyone. Definitely would recommend this company !!!
This was the worst experience ever. Very poor customer service. My daughter booked the TROLLEY for her wedding in LBI. When a charter bus arrived to transport the bridal party to the church she was so upset, I immediately called and spoke with the owner Ron to try to get a trolley to meet us at the church. He refused to do so without a credit card, so I obliged..because I was told that my daughter only paid for the charter bus and not the trolley which costs more..My daughter paid in cash 1072...they charged my credit card an additional $1650. To make matters worse, the trolley didn't follow the itinerary, they never picked up the grooms family. After dropping the bridal party off at the reception, the trolley left. Under the original contract, the trolley was suppose to have 2 pick up from the reception to drop guests back at local hotels, after the first pick up they never returned...leaving the bride, groom , the mother of the bride and the entire bridal party stranded at the reception hall with my ride. I tried on multiple occasions to resolve this fairly....Ron was uncooperative and unwillingly to make right this wrong. BEWARE of using their service! He wants to take the money and run !
This bus company is just sad. They took my son's school class to Hersey park for a school trip. We drove from vineland Nj to Hersey PA. We had a great day in the park and returned to the bus at 4:45 and was informed that the bus will not start. We were told by the drive that a repair truck was on its way to repair the bus. I got off the bus to check out what was wrong. The engine compartment was open and the alternator belt was shredded, but there was a belt laying on the engine compartment. After listening to the driver tell someone that the engine light was on when we pulled up in the Am. I was a little confused why the drive would wait all day to find out what was wrong with the bus. After about a hour and a half we were told the bus company had three other buses on site and they could fit us on those buses. As we where getting our kid together about 10-15 mins. We where told that the school on the buses would not wait for us and they left us. The bus company said that was up to the other school not them. So I called my wife and was about 20 feet from the bus and tell her what was going on and how incompetent the bus company was. The driver was listening to my phone call started tell that I was giving miss information out. I walked over to him and told him how rude it is to listen in on someone's phone call. And explained the information I was telling my wife was what he told us. He told me that they had a belt but could not get it on and that he had tried to jump start the bus with jumper cables he and the other bus drivers got from WAL-MART. So all day this bus is broke down and they are fooling with it. Not sending their maintance crew out or getting a repair truck out. Or even getting another bus to us in the seven hours we were in the park. Now it's close to 8 pm the park is closed and they tell us that they are going to send another bus but it will be about 3.5 hours. And that they aren't sending a repair truck at all ever thought they have a spare belt. Not it's 11pm the kids have not eaten since noon and the bus company will not help get food for the kids. The bus shows up and the driver of the broke down bus misdirected the back up bus on where to come because he doesn't want to Carrie his thing to far. I spoke with him about how ridiculous this was and he explained to me if I didn't shut up I would be taking a uber home. And that's kind of funny if I took a uber home I would have been home by now and it would have cost 138.00 dollers and me and my son would have eaten. Then we set out to go home at 11:15pm and this driver that drove us there got lost and we drove over PA a trip that should have taken 2.5 hours now has taken 4.5 hours. He need help to get back to our school. He never offered to stop so we could get some food or drinks. And never said he was sorry but he was worried about getting paid for the extra hours he had to work. It's been a week and we have heard nothing from the bus company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE UNSAFE AND HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. THE MECHANIC THAT SHOWED UP WITH THE OTHER BUS FOLLOWED IN A CAR. HAD SOME TOOLS IN A CARDBOARD BOX NO SERVICE TRUCK A CAR AND A CARDBOARD BOX. THIS WAS PAID FOR WITH TAX DOLLERS. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Terrible service. For anyone that does use this company for anything, I hope you don't bring anything of personal value on with you. I left my ring on one of their busses and called the night of, the next day, and the day after that. Spoke to the "president," Ronald, twice. The first time, he said he'd call around and see what he could find but never got back to me. Called again the next day and spoke to him and he claimed he didn't even "recall" my call or conversation with him. They were no help at all and terribly unorganized. Left a few messages that were never even listened to by the sound of their confusion anytime I referenced any of the messages. I am so disappointed and saddened by the lack of assistance in losing something so important. Never again.
